Eco-Cycle Enterprise Manager (EM)
Eco-Cycle seeks an entrepreneurial professional to help create and manage the next phase of combining environmental mission with business so as to establish Boulder as a Zero Waste Community model for the nation. This position will report directly to the Executive Director and success will require passion, humor, flexibility and an autonomous motivation to create change within the organization. The EM position will function much like a COO in giving support to a seven-person management team that oversees 60 employees. The primary responsibility of the EM will be to improve our internal organizational effectiveness by increasing the financial return from current operations and creating new community programming that is financially self-supporting and environmentally significant. The EM must be an excellent communicator, an experienced businessperson who thinks as a creative entrepreneur, and a big-picture, positive person who gets results. Maintenance Mechanic
Eco-Cycle is seeking a maintenance mechanic to troubleshoot and repair processing equipment for a large recycling center in Boulder, CO. The right individual will need to have experience with large industrial equipment and system issues, work safely in and around processing equipment, perform field inspections, and create maintenance reports.
Candidates must be physically able to climb ladders 20+ feet from time to time, navigate repairs in varying conditions including outdoor environments exposed to the elements. Self starter who is able to manage time and responsibilities. This is generally a semi-supervised position, so self-motivation and dedication to completing tasks is a must.
Essential Requirements:
- Able to work and troubleshoot hydraulic equipment.
- Electrical experience.
- Welding and light fabrication as needed.
- Able to conduct repairs on processing equipment, conveyors, forklifts, skid steer, and front loader.
- Able to communicate with equipment technicians and vendors.
- Able to coordinate and inspect a preventive maintenance program.
- Able to work in a team motivated environment.
- Basic computer skills, MS Word and MS Excel.
- Physical requirements of this position include the ability to push, pull, and lift items up to 40 (+) pounds.
- Organize maintenance shop and secure maintenance equipment in order to promote efficient, safe, and secure operations.
- May be called on after-hours in cases of facility production emergency.
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus
- Work hours may require overtime, evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a regular full-time basis without restrictions.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.

Drivers
Eco-Cycle is accepting applications for driver positions on an ongoing basis. We have full-time and part-time positions for Class A and Class B drivers, as well as account maintenance and helper positions. Drivers are required to have excellent driving skills, to be familiar with Boulder County and able to lift up to 100 lbs. An awareness of and commitment to the environment is strongly preferred.
